The Spirit of Elijah

The voice of him that cries in the wilderness; prepare the way of YHWH, and make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohim.

                            - YeshaYahu [Isaiah] 40:3

Those of us who constitute the faithful remnant in Y'shua have been blessed with the extraordinary privilege of being called to the Kingdom for such a time as this...

For some seventeen centuries, the holy nation has languished under the oppressive regime of "Churchianity"- the Greco-Roman pseudo-Christian paganism emanating from the Vatican and her wayward Protestant daughters. The original church government of YHWH and Y'shua through the house of David has been subverted, discredited and usurped, leaving the faithful remnant in a state of utter confusion. The church according to Christ has been forsaken, and replaced with a heresy laced pseudo-Christianity based upon worldly business practices and the religious traditions of men. Deception and greed abounds.

But as it is written, where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.

The Tanakh closes with the following words: "Behold, I will send you EliYahu (Elijah) the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YAH: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Mal. 4:5,6). Some four-hundred years after that prophecy was uttered, and a full nine-hundred years after the ministry of Elijah, Yehochanan (John the Baptist) came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, crying  "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Y'shua Himself bore witness that this was a spiritual fulfillment of the prophecy of Malachi, revealing that "...all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you will receive it, this is Elijah which was to come." (MattitYahu [Matt.]. 11:13,14). ZekarYahu (Zacharias), the father of John the Baptist was told by an angel that he would have a son who would go before YAH "...in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children... ."

By all accounts, the ministry of Elijah overthrew the spirit of witchcraft in ancient Israel caused by the rebellion and matriarchal oppression of King Ekhab (Ahab) and his wife Isabel (Jezebel). Clearly, this teaches us that John the Baptist was sent to do the same.

In other words, reconnecting the hearts of fathers and children is the divine solution to the curse of matriarchy among the remnant!

It is written, "As for my people, children are their oppressors and women rule over them. Oh my people, they which lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths." (YeshaYahu [Isaiah.] 3:12). In this final hour, our families, churches, congregations and communities are gripped with unprecedented materialism. And it's no mere coincidence that the words maternal and material are both derived from the Latin word 'mater', from which comes the English word 'mother.' Materialism and "maternalism" if you will, are two sides of the same coin!

Simply put, where there is materialism there is the oppressive spirit of 'Jezebel', or the rule of women - which YAH by the mouth of Isaiah has declared to be a curse! In the days of Elijah, and later in the days of John the Baptist, YAH's solution to this began with one who would prepare the way for the restoration of patriarchal governance. And in the wake of this final generation operating under the same curse of matriarchy, He is once again raising up anointed voices in the wilderness to call the Kingdom to order!

Truly, the spirit of EliYahu has been released in the earth, and is quickly coming to maturity. The ministry of John the Baptist is being manifested - but in an even higher dimension. In this final hour, the true voice of prophecy has begun to reveal the identity and purpose of Hebrew Israelites in Christ - and is pointing to apostles sent by Y'shua to rebuild the tabernacle of David. Very soon, Y'shua's earthly ministry will be manifested in a higher dimension as well, through these hidden ones - the true apostolic fathers (I Cor. 4:15, 16).

What we've witnessed thus far - among 'Messianic' ministers in general and 'Pentecostal' and 'Charismatic' leaders in particular - is a repetitive reworking of the earthly prophetic ministry of Y'shua. Such men are yet following after carnal ordinances, physical healings, miraculous provisions, etc. In truth, this tendency reveals the current state of perpetual immaturity among the leadership. How so?

Y'shua's prophetic ministry included the performing of physical signs to the end that the unbelieving might believe. And yet we must know that during this phase of His mission, He never fully delivered a sin-sick soul! Neither did He restore sight to the spiritually blind, or hearing to the spiritually deaf, and so on.

The truth is, even His most dedicated disciples failed to comprehend His teachings - and thus were not spiritually healed until His post-resurrection forty day ministry! [See Acts 1:1-11]. Sélah.

Y'shua prophesied such spiritual healings would eventually occur through His apostles, saying "Truly truly I say unto you; he that believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also, and GREATER works than these shall he do, because I go to My Father." (Yehochanan [John] 14:12).

The greater works He was referring to have been assumed by today's high profile 'bishops' (and most others) to be the same works in greater abundance. That is to say, such men teach that Y'shua's disciples will accomplish a greater quantity of the works He performed in the pre-crucifixion stage of His ministry.

But the fact that such men fail to see that Christ was prophesying of the greater spiritual wholeness that was soon to come, is itself a witness against their presumptuous claims to be His chief apostles!

The truth of the matter is, when one fully believes, one no longer seeks these signs...

For example, this is why in the epistle of the Master's brother Ya'aqob [James, who was himself prepared for leadership during Y'shua's apostolic ministry], we read that the healing of the sick became a kind of "standard operating procedure" carried out by the local elders of the congregation - not as part of a special "miracle healing service." Sélah.

To be sure, such signs must be present to authenticate a ministry of evangelizing the lost. Without question, to do so is to be faithful to scriptural precedent - to the pattern set by the early disciples. But when ministers hold such services for those already in the fold - and especially for "fund-raising" purposes - again, it reveals that they are in fact not the chief shepherds of Y'shua that many, including themselves, assume them to be...

Behold, the hour has come for the holy nation and the world at large to witness a manifestation of Y'shua's post-resurrection apostolic ministry - that which is in effect this day through His role as Chief Apostle and High Priest of our profession (Ibrim [Heb.] 3:1).

In short, we need His right now ministry right now - not just His earthly prophetic ministry! Sélah.

The hidden apostles of Y'shua - our true fathers in the faith - are soon to be revealed to the holy nation and the world... But the body of Messiah [Christ] must first be called to repentance from business-as-usual unto the establishing of Kingdom order. Truly, we at Preparing.org are laboring abundantly to that end...

This ministry is deeply committed to preparing the way for Y'shua and the house of David, by reconciling the remnant with their fathers - that we may finally witness an authentic manifestation of the greater works, and a glorious bride prepared for His return!
